Chelated Iron EDTA Fertilizer

Chelated Iron EDTA 13% is a 100% water-soluble micronutrient fertilizer delivering 13.2% EDTA-chelated iron — one of the highest iron concentrations among chelated iron forms — formulated to prevent and correct iron deficiency (interveinal chlorosis) in gardens, raised beds, containers, and hydroponic systems.

Iron is essential for chlorophyll synthesis and photosynthesis, and deficiency shows first as yellowing between still-green veins on the newest leaves. Iron is often abundant in soil yet chemically unavailable: above roughly pH 6.5 it converts to insoluble forms roots cannot absorb. The EDTA chelate wraps each iron ion in a stable ring that shields it from reacting with soil calcium, phosphate, and carbonate, keeping iron plant-available through the pH 4.0–7.0 range — where unprotected iron sulfate can lock up within hours. It dissolves cleanly for foliar sprays, soil drenches, fertigation, and hydroponic reservoirs.

EDTA is effective only in acidic to neutral conditions: confirm soil or solution pH before applying, and for soils above roughly pH 7.0–7.5 a DTPA or EDDHA chelate performs better. Apply foliar sprays in cool conditions, avoid drought-stressed plants, wear gloves and eye protection, and store sealed and dry.
